William L. and Ruth Coontz of Belington celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on Aug. 21.
They were married Aug. 21, 1954, in Belington, by the Rev. Frank W. Brandon.
Mr. Coontz is the son of the late Edna and Gene Coontz.

Mrs. Coontz is the daughter of the late Dora and Eddie S. Canterbury Sr.
They are the parents of four children, Sheryl Suder of Belington, Deborah Scott and husband, Jim, of Springhope, N.C., William Eric Coontz of Belington and Gregory Coontz and wife, Tracie, of Belington. They also have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
