The Elkins High School Alumni Association has scheduled its annual Forest Festival open house for 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 5 at The American Legion. All alumni and friends are invited to attend.
The open house often is well-attended, and it offers the opportunity to see old classmates and make new friends.
The Alumni Association recently hosted its annual picnic at the school, and the group would like to thank the following for their contributions that helped to make the event a success: the Elkins Lions Club for fixing the chicken; Mr. Fincham at EHS; Kingsford Charcoal; Class of 1957; Steer Steakhouse; Office Products; The Floral Mix Shop; Elkins Cinema; Sweco Furniture; Shop 'n Save, Beander's; Scotties; American Mountain Theater; Boughton Sports; Jane's Furniture; The Art Medium; Citizens Bank; Gino's; Hardee's; Trickett Hardware; Kroger; Ink Spot; and Elkins Builders Supply.
