Starting next week, the Elkins Street Department will begin milling several streets to prepare them for paving.
Streets will be closed to traffic as they are being milled. After the milling is completed, cars will be able to drive on the surface before paving takes place.
The following streets will be milled, in order, beginning Monday:
South Davis Avenue, from Whiteman to Blaine
10th Street, from South Davis Avenue to Kerens Avenue
Center Street, from Randolph Avenue to Delaware Avenue
Davis Street, from Randolph Avenue to Delaware Avenue
Graham Street, from Randolph Avenue to the alley
Oak Street, the entire length
Maryland Avenue, from Heavener Avenue to Orchard Street
