The Teter CEOS Club met Aug. 23 at the home of Dale Ann Curry for lunch and a reorganizational meeting.
A unique box lunch was served by the hostess to Annette Brake, Judy Beer, Carol Biser, Cathy DeBarr, Millie Hornbeck, Debbie Kittle, Betty Oldaker, Janet Smith, Jerry Stankus, Barbra White and Justine Woody.
Minutes were read by Smith, and financial report was given by Oldaker. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by White.
Kittle gave a report on Stamp-N-Up Club. The CEOS club can join for $99 and receive $30 in products that can be used to raise money for the club. Smith made a motion to join the club for three months.
Volunteer hours were turned in. Tickets were sold for the Tupperware Bingo, which will be held in October as a fundraiser. The Teter club is responsible for cases of water and soda pop.
A donation was made to help the Children's Fair, which is scheduled for Sept. 17. Oct. 1 will be the Breast Cancer Awareness Day, and an event will be held at noon. The club will take a dinner train ride on Oct. 18.
New officers were elected for the year. DeBarr will serve as president, and Smith will serve as the vice president. Vonnie Hager will continue to serve as the secretary, and Iris Mae Swecker will continue as treasurer.
Each member was presented the gift of a card holder, which contained a special message written in the form of a recipe - 2 cups volunteering, 1 cup loyalty, 1 cup dependability. Mix together with a cup of friendship and a pinch of patience. Bake with love and care and appreciate forever.
The next meeting is scheduled for noon Sept. 20 at the home of Vonnie Hager.
