Ina Lee Phares Hedrick, 82, of Seneca Rocks, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, in Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg.
She was born Aug. 7, 1930, at Circleville, the daughter of the late Elmer and Myrtle Sponaugle Phares.
On Dec. 18, 1951, Ina married Blake Robert Hedrick, who preceded her in death May 10, 2010.
She was a 1951 graduate of Circleville High School and was a member of High Rock United Methodist Church. Ina had worked for Petersburg Garment Factory and Hedrick's 4-U Restaurant, and she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Hedrick is survived by two daughters, Diane McMorrow of Seneca Rocks, and Patti Hedrick of Scott Depot; two sisters, Mary June Bennett and husband, Henry, of Circleville and Dottie Warner and husband, Jerry, of Franklin; three brothers, Richard Phares of Onego, Raymond Phares and wife, Rose, of Circleville, and James Phares and wife, Beverly, of Circleville; four grandchildren, Doug Wimer Jr., Traci McMorrow, Kyle Kisamore and Ashley Kisamore Kimble; and a great-granddaughter, Madison Rose Sword.
In addition to her husband, Ina was preceded in death by two infant sisters, Bessie and Jessie.
Mrs. Hedrick's family received friends Tuesday at Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin.
The Rev. Rebecca Bennett will officiate funeral services today at 11 a.m. at High Rock United Methodist Church in Seneca Rocks. Interment will be in Hedrick Family Cemetery at Seneca Rocks.
