Imogene Mae Morgan, 84, of Buckhannon, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, in St. Francis Hospital in Charleston.
She was born Oct. 18, 1927, at Alexander, a daughter of the late Charles and Liona Curry Shingleton.
On Aug. 30, 1946, she married David Morgan, who preceded her in death Dec. 2, 2000.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Wanda Regester.
She is survived by one daughter, Terry Morrison and husband, Roger, of Ellamore; one son, Patrick Morgan and wife, Helena, of Ellamore; five grandsons, Michael Morrison and wife, Heather, of Massillon, Ohio, Matthew Morrison and wife, Denese, of Buckhannon, Mitchell Morrison of Ellamore, David Morgan of Seattle, Wash., and Daniel Morgan of Burbank, Calif.; one brother, Donald Shingleton and wife, Joy, of Buckhannon; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Morgan was a teacher's aide at the Boys Village of MD and was a member of Sand Run Baptist Church.
Friends will be received Sunday, Sept. 30, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Inc. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in Sand Run Baptist Cemetery.
