A cakewalk/silent auction is set from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at Leading Creek Fire Department to benefit Lonnie Sharp Jr.
Sharp had a heart attack July 2 and his doctor won't allow him to return to work, so he can't afford to pay his medical bills.
The fundraiser will include a concession stand selling dinners with hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, a brownie, and a drink. There also will be a 50/50 drawing, as well as a raffle for a homemade, child-size picnic table.
