Naomi Eulalia (Wilson) Brancato, 73, of Lincoln, Calif., died Sept. 17, 2012, with her devoted husband, Sean, at her side.

She was born March 31, 1939, at Frenchotn, daughter of the late Basil and Jeraldeen Wilson.

She is survived by her husband, Sean; and brothers, Calvin (Betty) and Eldon (Linda) Wilson; nieces, Debbie (Scott) Smith, Janis (Rob) Hughes and Tracey (Matt) Wasilco; and nephew, Rodney (Carrye) Wilson, along with great-nieces, great-nephews and many other loving family members and friends.

She was a 1961 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College. Immediately after graduation, she began her teaching career in Upshur County. Then, after a brief teaching stint in New Jersey, she moved to San Francisco where she retired, ending a teaching career spanning more than 40 years.

She enjoyed classical music and was an avid opera fan and attended the theater regularly. In addition, she was a talented pianist and vocalist. She and her husband formed a small band in their local community and performed and recorded a number of original pieces they wrote.

She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma International Society, a professional honorary Society of Woman Educators. She was also a 50-year member of Rock Cave Aletha Chapter 82 Order of the Eastern Star.

In fulfillment of her wishes, she is to be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
