Members of the Teter CEOS met at noon Sept. 20 at the home of Vonnie Hager for lunch and a regular meeting.
The meeting was called to order by President Justine Woody.
Health Motivator Janet Smith recorded members' exercise hours and talked to the group about ways that sugar can hide out in the foods we eat. Some examples were pasta sauces, pre-packaged cereals such as oatmeal, salad dressings and juices.

She said members should always ask doctors if heart disease tests are really necessary and covered by our insurance.
Officials said club members are doing well with the motivation program.
Carol Biser led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Vonnie Hager led devotions with a reading, "Noah's New Arc," and read minutes of the August meeting. Iris Mae Swecker gave the treasurer's report.
The lesson "Mapping your Family Tree" was given to each member to study and see the benefits of passing along important family health information as well as finding out how important documents of our past will be kept and cherished by future generations.
Standing committees gave reports and the president reminded us of important upcoming events.
Breast Cancer Awareness Day at 11:30 a.m. at Jawbone Park will be Oct. 1.
County Council will meet at 7 p.m. Oct. 11 at the extension office.
Tupperware bingo will be 1 p.m. at Way of Holiness Church.
The regular meeting and train ride will be Oct. 18 at 10:30 a.m.
Dues are required by Nov. 1.
Carol Biser, Millie Harnbeck, Jerry Stankus and Vonnie Hager visited Extended Care at St. Joseph's Hospital on Sept. 13.
Justine Woody and Janet Smith cleaned up trash at the Recycle Center for September.
There will be a "Stampin' Up" work day to be announced. Janet Smith and Millie Hornbeck will host.
Pat Strader will Host the November meeting at noon Nov. 13 at her home.
Wale Ann Curry and Justine Woody will host the December meeting at Stonewall Resort. Janet Smith made the motion that the club pay for lunch and Millie Hornbeck seconded, motion passed.
The Teter club was very happy to have the honor of winning first place on the windows decoration as well as first place on mini fair booth during CEOS Week.
