Country crooners compete

Country music capped off Wednesday evening's events at the Mountain State Forest Festival, as competitors in the country music talent show took their twang to the Downtown Stage in Elkins Town Square.

Chelsea Anderson won the Adult Division with her rendition of The Band Perry's "Postcard from Paris," Cassie Wallace claimed second place and Cub Hammond earned third place.

In the Teen Division, Hillary Mayle took the top slot, Amber Marstiller snatched second place and Dale Jackson Jr. earned third.

Gracie Metheny triumphed over second-place winner Blake Anderson and third-place winner Cheyenne Kittle in the Children's Division.

Wednesday night's winners will advance to a showdown between all the talent show finalists, kicking off at 7 p.m. today at the Downtown Stage.
