Autumn Poetry Day will be celebrated Sunday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Moomau Library, located at 18 Mt. View St. in Petersburg.
This event, sponsored by the Grant County Arts Council and community sponsors Alma and David Williams, is free and open to students and adults. Poems, written by the participants or by others on the "Autumn" theme may be read aloud. Others may just listen and enjoy. This is a no-pressure, fun time to enjoy poetry, officials said.
