W.Va. Aging Services schedule flu clinic, fair

Central West Virginia Aging Services will be conducting the sixth annual Health Fair and Flu Clinic from 7:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 18 at the Braxton County Armory in Gassaway.

This year, the group has partnered with the Braxton County Senior Center and the Braxton County Health Department. The Braxton County Health Department will assist in administering the flu vaccines, while St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon will provide labs.

Central WV Aging Services and the Braxton County Senior Center will offestt the costs to provide this service to participants. Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Lipid Panel, Complete Blood Count and TSH are included for one fee. The PSA test and the A1C are available for an additional fee. Flu vaccines will be free.
