Ladies Veteran's of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 3663 in Upshur County will host the Patriot's Pen Program again this year.
Patriot's Pen Program is open to sixth- though eighth-graders in public, private, parochial high schools or home study programs in the United States and its territories. The deadline is Nov. 1. The theme for 2012-2013 is "What I Would Tell America's Founding Fathers." Students can ask a teacher or youth group leader to supervise their progress in the competition.
