The third- and fifth-grade students in Jenny Lilly's and Janet Phillips's classes at Hodgesville Elementary School are busy putting knowledge into their craniums with the newly formed Cranium Challenge Club.
A kickoff celebration was held with the students exploring the 86 challenges and having the opportunity to win great cranium building games.
Now, students are busy trying to master 16 of the 86 challenges to become a part of the Cranium Club Hall of Fame. Challenges include topics such as: name the seven continents; name 15 NFL teams and their cities; use sign language to sign the 26 letters of the alphabet; pass a 100-word spelling test; and name the first through 10th presidents in order.
Cranium Challenge Club members at Hodgesville Elementary School play brain building games and take on more than 80 cranium stretching games during their first meeting. Students completing more than 16 of the challenges will be inducted into the Cranium Club Hall of Fame.
Students are excited to become a member of the Hall of Fame and are adding knowledge to their craniums to pass the test where they can only use their cranium, officials said.
