Members of St. Brendan Catholic Church will begin a parish mission Sunday with guest speaker, the Rev. Daniel Francis.
His commitment is to show a side of religious and spirituality that encourages individuals to grow.
Parishioner Paula Staud encouraged people to attend the mission activities.
"My husband and I had the privilege of attending a mission with Father Daniel two years ago," Staud said. "He is truly an inspirational speaker, and I am thrilled that he has agreed to do this mission for St. Brendan. It really does 'rekindle one's faith,' and I know all who hear him will be blessed."
"This is a great way for our parish to begin the year of faith called by Pope Benedict XVI," said The Very Rev. Donald X. Higgs, pastor of St. Brendan. The year of faith began Oct. 11 and will end Nov. 24, 2013.
