The Tennerton United Methodist Church member of the month for October is Susie Miller. She is being recognized for her faithful attendance and commitment to the church.
Miller grew up in the church and joined in 1975. She participated in the various youth activities at that time. As a young adult, she was a Sunday school teacher for the nursery class. For several years she was on the nominations committee and has been an occasional greeter for Sunday morning worship services.
Miller helps with the church's annual apple butter making day and fall festival. For vacation Bible school, she incorporates each day's theme in the decorations for the dining room and helps the children make the snacks that follow along with Bible verses.
