Area sectional high school volleyball tournament action will get under way today.
The Class AAA, Region II Section 2 tourney will begin tonight when Buckhannon-Upshur entertains Elkins for a 7 p.m. matchup.
Lewis County will visit Hampshire in the other sectional tilt.
The two winners will meet for the championship on Wednesday.
In Class A, Region II, Section 1 tournament action, Tygarts Valley travels to South Harrison today for a 7 p.m. contest.
The winner will play Trinity for the title Wednesday at South Harrison High School.
The Class AA, Region II, Section 2 tournament will get under way Tuesday with No. 4 seed Bridgeport battling No. 5 seed Lincoln. The winner will play host team and No. 1 seed Philip Barbour at 7 p.m.
The winner of Robert C. Byrd vs. Grafton will face No. 2 Liberty (Harrison) Tuesday at 6 p.m.
The winer of that contest will face the Philip Barbour winner for the championship Thursday at 6 p.m.
