The West Virginia Conference men's and women's college soccer tournament will get under way today.
One area women's team will be in action this afternoon when No. 3 seed Davis & Elkins plays host to No. 6 Concord at Elkins High School. The game is set for 3:30 p.m.
The Lady Senators will bring a 12-3-1 record into the tournament.
Wesleyan is the No. 2 seed in the tourney and will entertain today's D&E-Concord winner Friday at 7 p.m.
Alderson-Broaddus (13-4-1, 9-1 WVIAC), which won the regular-season championship, will face today's Shepherd-Charleston winner also on Friday at 7 p.m. That contest will be played on the Lady Battlers' home field.
Shepherd is the No. 4 seed in the women's tourney and Charleston is fifth.
The women's title game will be held on Sunday. The contest will played at the highest remaining seed.
Competition on the men's side won't get under way until Tuesday.
The first game will pit No. 6 Seton Hill at No. 3 West Virginia Wesleyan. No. 5 Shepherd at No. 4 Wheeling Jesuit will make up the other half of Tuesday's matchups.
The winner of the Seton Hill-Wesleyan game will play at No. 2 Davis & Elkins on Thursday.
The other semifinal contest on Thursday will between the winner of Shepherd-Wheeling Jesuit and No. 1 Charleston.
The men's championship game will be Saturday at the higher seed.
Charleston won the regular season title with a 12-3-1 overall record.
The Golden Eagles finished 9-0 in the conference this season.
