Doris Ruth Lough, 91, of Route 3, Buckhannon, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at the home of her daughter under the care of People's Hospice.
She was born Oct. 12, 1921, at Cleveland, a daughter of the late Arthur Clarence and Lula Grace Berry Wilson.
She was united in marriage in 1938 to Perley R. Miller, who preceded her in death in 1972. In March 1979, she was united in marriage to her second husband, Raymond Lough, who preceded her in death in December 1988.
She is survived by two daughters, Ruth and husband, Edward Gillum, of Buckhannon, and Patty and husband, George Sutton, of Virginia; one son, Gary and wife, Sue Miller, of Buckhannon; stepchildren, Maymoleen Whitehair, Anna McAllister and Norma Groves, all of Ohio; six grandchildren, Debbie Howes, Danny Eskew, Todd Miller, Heather Day, Lea Cale and Kelly Coppage; 10 great-grandchildren, Jamie Rowan, Cody Howes, Wade Day, Colton Day, Jesse Miller, Emalea Miller, Lauren Cale, Sarah Cale, Bethany Cale and Brandon Eskew; one great-great-granddaughter, Gracelynn Rowan; one brother, Arthur Carol Wilson of Selbyville; two sisters, Hildred Sisk and Dora Neely, both of Rock Cave; and a special friend, Larry Burkhammer.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Hobert, Monter, Carl and Vern Wilson; and two sisters, Esta Cremeans and Millie Chidester.
Friends will be received at Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel today from 2 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 1 p.m. at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Ralph Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Dale Cemetery at Selbyville.
