Ms. Wilda Isabelle Glendenning Delauder, 84, a resident of Norton, departed this life Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at her residence. She had been in declining health but death was unexpected.
She was born Feb. 25, 1928, a daughter of the late Frank and Goldie L. McDilda Glendenning.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Ware of Norton; one brother, Clarence R. Glendenning of Newton Falls, Ohio; two sisters, Opal Papandria of Philippi and Elsie Cottrill and husband, Carson, of Bridgeport.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant son, Wendell L. Ware.
Ms. Delauder was a homemaker and was last employed at Mountain Mama's Restaurant in Belington. She attended the schools of Barbour County and was full gospel by faith. She will be remembered for her love of her feline companions.
At the request of the deceased, her remains will be cremated. Interment of her cremains will be in the Church of the Brethren Cemetery at Junior.
