Betty Bibey

Mrs. Betty Lou (Faesenmeier) Bibey, 71, a resident of Mansfield Place, formerly of Belington, went home to be with the Lord Thursday Nov. 1, 2012, at 7:20 p.m. in Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown, following a period of declining health.

She was born July 30, 1941, at Jimtown, a daughter of the late Arthur B. and Freda T. (Harlan) Faesenmeier.

On July 30, 1960, she was united in marriage to William Bernard Bibey, who preceded her in death April 17, 2001.

She is survived by three daughters, Belinda Emigh and husband, Bruce, of Jimtown, Cindy Harris of Junior and Melissa Stalnaker and husband, Tim, of Bowden; brothers, Arthur B. Faesenmeier Jr. and wife, Sarah, of Stonewood, Emil Faesenmeier and Juanita of Belington and George Faesenmeier of Mount Olive; sisters, Teresa Evans and husband, Calvin Fridley, of Belington, and Minnie Holsberry and husband, Gene, of Montrose.

She is also survived by five grandchildren, Iowana Hutzler and husband, Don, of Junior, Latisha Bolyard and husband, Joey, of Belington, Chase Swick of Junior, Briana Emigh of Belington and Brandon Emigh of Jimtown; six great grandchildren, Cole, Miles and Owen Hutzler, Austin, Kristen and Eli Bolyard of Belington; two sister-in-laws, Garnet and husband, Bob Skidmore, of Junior and June Bibey of Locus Grove, Va.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter ,Brittany Nichole Emigh; and three half-sisters, Mary Margaret Wilson, Anna Mae Phillips and Gertrude Louise Bennett.

Mrs. Bibey attended the schools of Randolph County and was formerly employed by Reibord Brothers, Beta Shoe Company and Belington Senior Center. She was a homemaker in her later years. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Belington Church of the Nazarene.

Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington from 6 to 9 p.m. today and again on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., the funeral hour, when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Richard Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery near Junior.
