Firefighters from the Elkins Fire Department and the Beverly Volunteer Fire Department respond Thursday to a house fire at 105 Charles St., Elkins. When firefighters arrived, heavy smoke was coming from the home. No one was inside at the time of the blaze. Officials said it appeared an electric heater started the fire, causing an estimated $25,000 worth of damage.
