Citizens Bank of West Virginia has welcomed Rebecca Schoonover as financial advisor for PrimeVest and Citizens Investment Services.
Schoonover will be based at the bank's Elkins branch, and will serve clients in Randolph, Tucker, Pocahontas counties and surrounding communities.

Schoonover earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Charleston. She has a solid background in the financial industry, and is an investment advisor representative.
She also has several industry licenses including her FINRA General Securities Representative (Series 7), NASAA-Investment Advisors State Law Exam (Series 66), Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam (Series 63), as well as her life and health insurance licenses, and Medicare supplements and long term care insurance licenses.
She and her husband, Todd Schoonover, reside in Elkins with their two sons, Jacob and Mason. She is a running fanatic and enjoys biking, playing tennis, snowboarding and reading.
Citizens opened the bank's investment center in 1999, partnering with PrimeVest to make it easier for customers to have access to a comprehensive offering of products and services.
