DAR learns about D&E programs

November 28, 2012
The Inter-Mountain

Debbie Larkin, associate registrar and veterans liaison officer at Davis & Elkins College, presented information about the college's veterans' programs to members of the John Hart Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently.

Members said they were "impressed" with the number of student veterans and special programs available to them.

The college's Student Veterans Association operates the paintball course and Veterans Lounge on campus, and it recently formed a Color Guard with representation from every branch of the military except the Coast Guard. D&E has been named a Military-Friendly School by Victory Media for three consecutive years.
