The health class at Highland Adventist School recently enjoyed a visit from guest lecturer, Dr. Don Fleming.
Fleming, oncologist and hematologist at the Cancer Care Center in Elkins, presented the latest information on cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment. He stressed the importance of regular screening, early diagnosis and preventive measures such as using sunscreen. He completed his presentation by answering student questions.
