The Elkins Police Department is still searching for the individuals responsible for vandalizing vehicles at Performance Motors in Elkins.

Chief Rob White with the EPD said seven vehicles were vandalized sometime between Nov. 13 and Nov. 16. The damage was reported to the police department on Nov. 16. White said the damage appeared to be done by a ball pin hammer or some similar instrument.

Christina Hines, a manager at Performance Motors, confirmed damage was done, saying a hammer or rocks could have been used.

She said one vehicle had a smashed windshield. Others will require body work and paint repair. In total, she said the damage inflicted totaled approximately $6,000.

White said the police department is still investigating the matter. No suspects have been named at this time.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Elkins Police Department at 304-636-0678.
