Sandra L. "Sandy" Moyer Louk Poe, 65, a resident of Elkins, passed away Saturday evening, Dec. 1, 2012.
She was born Aug. 21, 1947, at Elkins, a daughter of the late Frank Elwood Moyer and the late Hazel Vanpelt Moyer.
She is survived by one daughter, Angela "Angie" Louk of Elkins; two brothers, Frank E. Moyer Jr. and wife, Janie, of Beverly and Richard L. Moyer and wife, Karen, of Anmore; a sister-in-law, Mary Jo Moyer; and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death was one brother, David Moyer.
Sandra attended the schools of Randolph County and was a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 1966. She worked for several years at the Elkins Sewing Factory, The Fast Break Store and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist by Faith and a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Elkins, Kerens Rebekah Lodge No. 292 and H.W. Daniels Post 29 American Legion Auxiliary. She looked forward to the day she would go home to be with her Lord and Savior.
Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. On Friday, she will be moved to Landmark Baptist Church where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Pastor Ken Shiflet will officiate, and interment will follow in Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman.
