Elkins High School's girls and Philip Barbour's boys captured a tri-meet held Tuesday at Alderson-Broaddus College.
The EHS girls defeated Philip Barbour 85-33 and Liberty by a score of 83-41.
Delaney Johnson and Samantha Hall each had two first-place finishes for the Lady Tigers. Johnson captured the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:09.55 and the 100 freestyle (56.42). Hall was first in the 50 freestyle (25.07) and 500 freestyle (5:43.37).
Other first-place winners for Elkins included Tayler Lee in the 200 individual medley (2:51.43) and Lauren Cain in the 100 backstroke (1:17.84).
The Lady Tigers also captured the 200 medley relay (Kayla Gainer, Tenny DeMarco, Cain, Skout Barger) in a time of 2:12.79, the 200 free relay (Johnson, Barger, Gainer, Hall) and the 400 free relay (Johnson, DeMarco, Gainer, Hall).
Philip Barbour's Jordan Bowers took the 100 fly in a time of 1:29.85.
The Philip Barbour boys earned a 73-10 win over Liberty and a 68-31 decision over Elkins.
Quentin Mouser captured the 50 freestyle (23.84) and 100 backstroke (1:02.71), while Scott Freed was first in the 500 freestyle (6:52.11) and 200 freestyle (2:25.06) to lead the Colts.
Philip Barbour also took the 200 medley relay (Mouser, Jonathan Franke, Bryce McGee, Freed) in a time of 1:58.35 and the 200 free relay (Franke, McGee, Freed, Mouser) in 1:46.07.
Brian Cox led Elkins with a first-place showing in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:30.79.
Elkins and Philip Barbour both will participate in the Clarksburg Rotary Invitational at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
