Barbara Ellen Bice "Bobbi" Miller, 70, a resident of Jimtown, departed this earth Wednesday evening, Dec. 5, 2012, in Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown, on angel's wings to be with our Savior. She had been in declining health but death was unexpected.

She was born Friday, March 13, 1942, at Elkins, a daughter of the late Cecil Earl and Dolly Ellen Rutherford Bice.

On March 21, 1960, at Elkins, she was married to Johnny D. Miller, who survives. They had celebrated 52 years of marriage.

Also surviving are her loving daughters, Jonnie Sue "Suzy" George of Jimtown, Sandy Arbogast and husband, Randall, of Elkins and Sherri Rowan and husband, Jim, of Winfield; and a loving son, Steve Miller and wife, Robin, of Mabie. She also had been blessed with nine grandchildren, Kristie Summerfield of Elkins, Justin George of Mabie, Andrew Arbogast of Grafton, Rachael Arbogast of Morgantown, Derek Miller of Martinsburg, Haylee and Ethan Miller, both of Mabie; Kane and Maddi Rowan, both of Winfield; and six great-grandchildren.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Preceding her in death were two sisters, Mary Louise Chapman and Lula Marie Thomas.

She was a graduate of the Coalton Twelve Year School with the class of 1960, was a homemaker and a member of Phillips Chapel Church at Jimtown. "Bobbi" was well known for her love of nature, flower gardening and her artistic ability with floral designs and decorating. She loved her family and rejoiced in spending time together with her grandchildren. Her loving touch, laughter and sense of humor will be forever a part of our lives.

The family will receive friends at Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins Saturday, Dec. 8, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Stella Faye Moyer will officiate, and interment will follow in Phillips Cemetery at Jimtown.
