Clyde G. Simmons celebrated his 89th birthday Dec. 17.
Mr. Simmons was born at Mill Creek, a son of the late George and Anna Simmons.
He is a veteran of World War II.

He has one daughter, Maureen Kittle; four grandchildren, Shellie Skidmore, Angie Daniels, Brandy Williams and Shana Simmons; and five great-grandchildren, Brianna Witek, Jesse Skidmore, Lauren Ray, Isabella Daniels and Austin Williams.
His wife, Naomi, and son, Randy, are deceased.
