Betty Ann Bosely, 80, of Route 2, Belington, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, in the Mapleshire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Morgantown, following an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 18, 1932, at Elkins, a daughter of the late Edward Reed Phillips and the late Kermie Mae (Smith) Phillips.
On Nov. 7, 1953, she was married to William Giles Bosely, who preceded her in death on March 23, 2011.
Survivors include her son, Calvin Bosely and wife, Clarissia, Frederica, Del.; two grandchildren, Candice L. Bosely, Portland, Ore., Corey Lee Bosely, Gathersburg, Md.; and a great grandson, William A. Bosely.
Mrs. Bosely retired from the housekeeping department of Alderson- Broaddus College. She was a member of the Elk City United Methodist Church and loved to feed and watch the humming birds.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, from the Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel, 609 Crim Ave., Belington. Pastor David Shelton will officiate and interment will follow in the Belington Fraternal Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the funeral hour, on Tuesday.
Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.
