The Randolph County Commission's new president has compiled a fresh set of goals for 2013.
County Commission President Chris See sat down with The Inter-Mountain recently to review the commission's objectives for the coming year.
When asked to rank the commission's top three priorities, See said the first was completing renovations to the Randolph County Courthouse.

"It's very important for record preservation," he said. "The records of the county clerk and the circuit clerk are going to be housed there."
"We're also going to continue to support the efforts of the entire county's public service districts in the expansion of water and sewer lines throughout the county," See added.
The June 29 derecho and Superstorm Sandy revealed the need for more emergency shelter coverage throughout the county, See said.
"We're going to work to establish emergency shelters at the Harman and Mill Creek Senior Centers," he said.
In 2013, the commission would also like to:
"We're still waiting on the feasibility study for that," See said.
Reflecting on the county commission's to-do list, See chuckled.
"If we get all that done by the end of this year, we'll be lucky," he said. "But we work real well together, and it takes all three. A president can't do anything by himself."
