Kump Liaisons discuss student educators

Kump Education Center Professional Development Schools Liaisons Liz Marshall McVean, Elkins High School; Beth Cooper, Midland Elementary; Sue Talbott, Director of Professional Development Schools; Heather Biola, Director of The Kump Education Center; Rich Leitner, Elkins Middle School; and Carol Losh, Third Ward Elementary, discuss plans to place Davis & Elkins College education majors in the classrooms of Randolph County schools. The group meets at the college twice a month, and works with faculty and administrators to ensure that the college students have a positive, meaningful experience. D&E is among three private colleges and five public school systems that collaborate with the Kump Education Center to create a professional development school consortium.
