Lykes leads D&E past Ohio?Valley

Davis & Elkins used three players in double figures to roll past Ohio Valley 75-56 Monday in West Virginia Conference action at the McDonnell Center.

Jorden Lykes had a team-high 16 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead the Lady Senators (10-8, 9-5 WVIAC), who led 32-24 at halftime.

Sharmaine Baker followed with 14 points and six rebounds, while Page Turner added 13 points and four assists for Davis & Elkins.

Jasmine Gibson fired in a game-high 21 points and six rebounds, while Amy Brooks chipped in with 15 points to lead Ohio Valley (1-16, 1-12).

Davis & Elkins visits Seton Hill at 5:30 p.m. Thursday for a West Virginia Conference matchup.

Men's Basketball

Davis & Elkins 73, Ohio Valley 49

D'Quan Lynch recorded a double-double to lead Davis & Elkins past Ohio Valley 73-49 Monday in West Virginia Conference action.

Lynch had a team-high 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Senators (6-12, 5-9 WVIAC), who led 32-29 at halftime.

Devin Miller followed with 15 points, four rebounds, four assists, while Shane Brown and Ante Cosic added 10 points each for Davis & Elkins.

Josh Wamsley, Nic Hammond and Igor Premasunac had six points each for the Senators.

Ashton Brown had 22 points and seven rebounds, while Osvaldas Gaizauskas added 11 points and three rebounds for the Flying Scouts.

Mustafa Helal chipped in with six points for Ohio?Valley.

Davis & Elkins travels to Seton Hill at 7:30 p.m. Thursday for a WVIAC tilt.
