Seniors can be at risk for poisoning

CHARLESTON Many people think that if they do not have children or grandchildren, they would never need to call the poison center. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Seniors can still get bitten by snakes or spiders, accidently misuse cleaning supplies, or swallow something they shouldn't. In addition, as one gets older, chances are the number of medications one takes will increase.
