Davis & Elkins is quietly working its way up the West Virginia Conference standings as teams start jockeying for seeding in the upcoming league tournament.

The Lady Senators have won five of their last six games, including Monday's 19-point win over Ohio Valley, to improve to 10-8 overall and fourth in the WVC with a 9-5 record.

D&E has a trio of key games approaching over the next week - a road tilt at Seton Hill, and a pair of home encounters against Shepherd and league leader Glenville State on Feb. 7.
