Political standards might be applicable for one state or nation, but not for another. Societal trends might be acceptable for one generation, but not for another. When considering the truth of the inspired New Testament of Jesus Christ, it applies universally to all people in all places. When it is forbidden or rejected, it still stands as the only plan which is able to lead the soul to heaven. (John 14:6).
Jesus told His disciples: "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15) That means the truth of the gospel applies to all accountable souls among the approximate 7.1 billion. The apostle Paul wrote, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16). The truth of the gospel serves as the sole standard for judgment. Jesus said, "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." (John 12:48) Will you join us in the universal truth?
