Roy Jones, 83, of Buckhannon, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, in Holbrook's Nursing Home in Buckhannon.
He was born June 3, 1929, at Russellville, a son of the late Clyde Alexander and Laura Edith Wright Jones.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John H. and Clyde Jones; one half brother, Robert Toney; and one half sister, Bernice Osborne.

He is survived by one brother, James L. Jones of Buckhannon.
Mr. Jones was a lumberman. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, Feb. 7, at noon in Bethel Cemetery in Corlis.
