Nationally renowned estate planning speaker Charles D. "Skip" Fox will present a one-day seminar on "The New Permanent Estate Tax: What It Means and How to Plan for It" from 10 p.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 14 sponsored by the North Central West Virginia Estate Planning Council at the Waterfront Hotel Event Center in Morgantown.
Fox is head of the Private Wealth Services Industry Group of the law firm of McGuireWoods LLP and is an adjunct professor at the University of Virginia School of Law.
He is a co-presenter of the long-running monthly teleconference series on tax and fiduciary law issues sponsored by the American Bankers Association and is a regular columnist for the ABA Trust Letter on tax matters.
Those interested in joining the NCWVEPC (must be Attorneys, CPAs, trust officers, CLUs, CFPs, ChFCs, CTFAs and nonprofit development officers working in the estate planning field) are invited to join and can attend the Fox seminar by paying the full year's dues by Feb. 14.
