Farm animals take to the classroom

Beverly Elementary School students in Mary Post and Becky Severino’s kindergarten classes visit with piglets, hens, a rooster, a heifer, a border collie and goat kids Friday. The students have been reading and learning about baby animals. Local farmers, including Mike Kwasnewski, pictured left, shared their newborn livestock with students.
