One man suffered injuries and was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown after the coal truck he was driving crashed into a garage in Mill Creek Wednesday.
The one-vehicle accident occurred at about 10 a.m., when Daniel Balduci, 55, of Belington was driving a truck along the Cassity-Adolph Road. The Corley Trucking company truck Balduci was operating traveled off the road and smashed into a garage belonging to Junior George of Cassity, Randolph County Sheriff Mark Brady said.
"The garage was a total loss, and I believe the truck was a total loss too," Brady said. "At this time, the accident is still under investigation by the deputies. We're unsure of what caused it - it could have been a medical condition. There were no skid marks on the road that would indicate anything else other than a medical condition."

Corley Trucking Company is based out of Mabie; Brady said the truck had been loaded with coal at the time the accident transpired.
Brady said weather wasn't a factor in the accident.
As of 4 p.m., a Ruby Memorial Hospital spokeswoman said Balduci hadn't been formally admitted as a patient.
In addition to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, Randolph County EMS, the West Virginia Department of Transportation, the Coalton Vol. Fire Department and the Mill Creek/Huttonsville Vol. Fire Department responded to the scene, Brady said.
