Superintendent Scott Lampinen recognized Buckhannon-Upshur High School senior Sarah Gillespie on her last day as a student representative for the Upshur County Board of Education. Gillespie is the first student to serve on the school board. She started in October as a non-voting member, and has helped bring a student perspective to the board.
