MILL CREEK - Ian Nichols and Tyler Snyder had 20 points each to lead Class A, No. 3 Tucker County past Tygarts Valley 67-44 Tuesday In Potomac Valley Conference action.

Nichols had 14 rebounds, while Snyder added eight assists for the Mountain Lions (17-3), who led 45-23 at halftime and 58-34 after three quarters of play.
Mikhail Lewis finished with nine points, while Nathaniel Goldstein followed with seven points for Tucker County.
"I thought we played well tonight," Tucker County coach Tom Gutshall said. "We really played well defensively."
Brett Griffith had 12 points, while Brandon Pritt chipped in with 10 points for the Bulldogs (15-6).
Adam Cassell followed with nine points, seven rebounds and four assists for Tygarts Valley.
"I thought both teams played well tonight," Tygarts Valley coach Tom Wamsley said.
"Tucker really shot the ball well tonight and we just couldn't match their shooting precentage."
Tygarts Valley will travel to East Hardy at 7:30 p.m. today for a Potomac Valley Conference tilt.
Tucker County will begin sectional tournament play next Wednesday at Alderson-Broaddus College.
Pendleton 72, SVA 34
FRANKLIN - Ten different players reached the scoring column to lead Pendleton County past Shenandoah Valley Academy 72-34 on Tuesday.
Evan Arrington had 18 points and six rebounds, while Logan Raines added 11 points and Luke Yokum 10 points for the Wildcats.
Pendleton County will travel to Petersburg at 7:30 p.m. today for a non-conference contest.
