The Lady Mountain Lions coasted to a 93-25 win and will face Tygarts Valley, a 58-43 winner over Notre Dame in Wednesday’s late game, at 7 p.m. Friday in the championship game.

"I was very happy with our rebounding," Lady Bulldog coach Mike DiPasquale said. "We dominated on the boards with our inside players, and our guards also played well to keep the game at our type of pace."

Pingley grabbed 16 caroms to pace Tygarts Valley, which had lost both regular-season meetings against the Lady Irish.

"This win gives us a great opportunity to play for a sectional championship," DiPasquale said. "We're very excited to keep playing and advancing."

Molly Angotti led Notre Dame (10-13) with 23 points.

Tucker County, meanwhile, had all 11 players dressed reach the scoring column in its victory.

Amber Evans and Stephanie Betler each had 13 points for the Lady Mountain Lions (17-5), while Madison Mullenax tallied 11 points, Aiyana Kachmarek 10 and Savannah Ambrose five blocked shots.

"We were able to play a lot of girls and get everyone involved in the game," Tucker County coach Jim Ambrose said. "Now we have to get ready to play Tygarts Valley."

Tiffany Jones had nine points for the Lady Tigers, who end the season 7-12.

Tucker County and Tygarts Valley will meet at 7 p.m. Friday at Rex Pyles Arena
