Ashley Bowles bucketed 12 points to lead Davis & Elkins past Alderson-Broaddus 67-49 Thursday in West Virginia Conference action at the McDonnell Center.
Jorden Lykes followed with 10 points and three rebounds, while Maquasia Ferebee and Sharmaine Baker tallied nine points each for the Lady Senators (14-11, 13-8 WVIAC), who carried a 35-26 lead into halftime. Ashley Magallanez and Page Turner also had seven points, and Beth Gribble five.
Erica Brooks finished with 14 points, while Cayla Rhodes had seven points and four rebounds for the Lady Battlers (7-18, 6-15).

Davis &?Elkins’ Maquasia Ferebee and Alderson-Broaddus’ Sydney Shaffer battle for a loose rebound in West Virginia Conference play Thursday night at the McDonnell Center.
Amanda Peoples added six points and six rebounds, while Leah Hurst, Shirshawna Dowdy, Nautica Davis and Emily Sarver had four points each for the visitors.
"We defended and played hard," D&E coach Jason Asbell said. "I was very pleased with our team's effort tonight because I feel we haven't been playing very well as of late."
D&E will travel to West Virginia Wesleyan at 2 p.m. Saturday for another West Virginia Conference matchup.
Alderson-Broaddus will visit Glenville State at 4 p.m. Saturday for a WVIAC tilt.
