HUNTINGTON?- Buckhannon-Upshur's Seth Cutright will wrestle for a state title after staying unbeaten on Friday at the state tournament being held at Big Sandy Superstore Arena.
Cutright advanced to today's finals at the 152-pound weight class by defeating Parkersburg South's Jake Alexander by a major decision (8-0) in the quarterfinals. He then scored a major decision (10-2) over Huntington's Paden Christian in the semifinals.
Cutright will face Ripley's Preston Martin, who took a 3-2 decision over Musselman's Cody Spinks in the semifinals.

Buckhannon-Upshur’s Daniel Nolte tangles with Point Pleasant’s Jacob Duncan in the quarterfinals of the 220-pound weight class Friday at the state tourney. Nolte scored a 15-4 major decision win.
Cutright's teammate Dakota Linger lost a 5-3 decision to Ripley's Lucas Simpkins in the semifinals at 126.
The Bucs' Daniel Nolte lost a heartbreaker in the semifinals at 220. Nolte was on the short end of a 3-2 decision in overtime to John Marshall's Cullen Ebbert.
Huntington enters today's championship and consolation rounds as the leader in the Class AAA team standings with 152.5 points. Parkersburg is second with 136.5 points, while Ripley (115.5) is third and four-time defending state champion Parkersburg South (102) is fourth.
B-U is 11th with 50 points.
Greenbrier West leads in Class AA-A with 115.5 points, followed by Independence (95.5), East Fairmont (94.5), Wirt County (74) and North Marion (73) to round out the top five.
