Shirley Ann Adams, 74, of Buckhannon, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at her home.
She was born July 20, 1938, in Webster Springs, a daughter of the late Foster and Lydia Brooks Cool.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Garry Duane Adams.
Also surviving are two daughters, Wilma Riffle, of Buckhannon, and Vickie Harmon, of Virginia; two sons, Ron McQuain of Houston, Texas, and Mark McQuain of Australia; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four brothers, Carvil, Ray and Robert Cool, all of Medina, Ohio, and Roy Cool, of Webster Springs; and two sisters, Rita Dunkley, of Virginia, and Irene Taylor, of South Carolina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Cool.
Mrs. Adams was a wrapper operator for Moore Business Forms and was a member of the Ladies Aux. of the Buckhannon VFW Post 3663.
Friends will be received today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
