Mr. Harry Allen Wadsworth, 73, a resident of First Street in Elkins, departed this life Friday afternoon, Feb. 22, 2013, in Davis memorial Hospital at Elkins following a brief illness.
He was born Sept. 10 1939. at Turtle Creek. Pa., a son of the late Samuel and Alice Teets Wadsworth.
On Sept. 22, 1964, he was united in marriage to the former Maeomia June Ash, who survives at their home in Elkins
Also surviving are two sons, Jeff Wadsworth and wife, Lisa, and H.A. Wadsworth and wife, Jodie; two grandchildren, Amanda and Brook Wadsworth, all of Maryland;, one sister Dorothy Bennett of Georgia; favorite brother-in-law, Argel Ash of Elkins; and a close family friend, Wanda Shipman.
Mr. Wadsworth attended the schools of Pennsylvania, and was a retired accountant for Frederick County, Md. He was a Methodist by faith and had a great love of dogs and owned several breeds over the years and had formerly served in the National Guard.
At the request of the deceased, his remains will be cremated.
