4:45 p.m.: Tanker explosion risk prompts evacuation

March 14, 2013
The Inter-Mountain

Danger of an explosion has prompted emergency personnel to evacuate everyone in a 300 foot radius from a propane tanker that has been burning for a week along Talbott Road in Belington.

A source indicates the road has been closed to traffic because of the explosion risk. An emergency mobile camper also has been moved further away from Sisolack's Truck Service to ensure the safety of emergency personnel at the site.
