The 34th annual West Virginia Construction and Design Exposition - March 20 and 21 at the Charleston Civic Center - promises officials from the construction and design industry a record number of exhibits. This year's event will feature 340 exhibitors with 485 indoor booths, including several outdoor exhibits.
The region's largest trade show for those involved in construction, design, public works, purchasing and natural resources is previewed online at www.wvexpo.com.
"The EXPO seminar and meeting agenda, featuring 70 sessions, has something for every interest and discipline. No problem for engineers, water and wastewater operators, architects and others getting their continuing education needs met at this show," organizers said, explaining that the event is more than just displays.
EXPO also will host the second "Marcellus to Manufacturing (M2M) Ethane Development Conference" in the Upper Lobby of the Charleston Civic Center, EXPO's newest exhibit area. Other exhibit areas are featured in the Coliseum, Grand Hall and Lower Lobby.

"You can register in advance at www.wvexpo.com and print your own name tag or pick one up at the show. This year's name tags include a QR code, providing you an easy way to network and share contact information," organizers said. "The show is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on March 20 and 8 a.m. until noon on March 21. EXPO only happens once a year, so don't miss it. More than 5,000 individuals from 27 states visited the show last year. Complimentary show programs will be available at the door."
EXPO is sponsored by the Contractors Association of WV, WV Society of Professional Engineers, AIA-WV and the WV Utility Contractors Association, in addition to 24 cosponsoring organizations. "The trade show has become the meeting ground for contractors, architects, engineers, purchasing agents, suppliers, public works officials and others involved in the commercial and industrial construction markets," according to sponsors.
